Obituary
Rebecca Lynn Hatley Rinck, 65 of Hickory passed away, Sunday, July 26, 2026, at her residence.
Born in Carter County, TN, on February 11, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dale and Lillian Ruth Payne Hatley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Roger Rinck; her maternal and paternal grandparents; sisters Elizabeth Hatley Dellinger and rosa Hatley Owens; her brothers Mark Hatley, Larry Hatley and Edward Hatley; also, her uncles, aunts, cousins, and a niece Lisa.
She is survived by her son Joseph “Joey” Rinck of the home; her sister Janet Presnell and husband Randel of Vilas; brothers Jerry Hatley of Hickory, Gary Hatley and Martha of Taylorsville and Ray Hatley and wife Norma of Vilas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an uncle and an aunt.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hickory Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Monday, August 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Brookford City Cemetery, 6316 Mountain Grove Road, Hickory, NC 28601.
